Modernisation

For major upgrades and modernisation, we can install new control panels, power units and cylinders individually or as a complete package. If operating temperatures are a problem, we offer cooling or heating systems calculated to suit each site.

We can provide full technical support in respect of upgrades, together with Part 10 testing.

The outstanding Hydroelite drive and control system is available exclusively in the UK through GF Lift Hydraulics. Hydroelite is an integrated system specifically designed for hydraulic elevators.This unique modernisation package comes complete with all shaft wiring, shaft switches and position encoder. A node communication box at each landing and on top of the lift car ensures easy local wiring, thus reducing the installation and down time of the lift modernisation.

Power units and cylinders
To supply a quotation for a power unit and cylinder we need to know the following data: load, car weight, travel, speed and arrangement i.e., direct acting or 2:1.

Car frames and kits
We can supply everything mechanical to compliment our range of hydraulic equipment. Our 'kit' comprises of guides, guide brackets, buffers, cylinder upstand, diverter pulley and frame, over speed governor, rope and car frame complete with safety gear and shoes/rollers.

Rewiring / control panel changes
When changing a valve or power unit it is often required that the control panel is changed at the same time. We can supply and install a new control panel and rewire the lift and shaft.
